Story

I will be walking 26 miles as my 2.6 challenge, raising money for Fight Bladder Cancer and would appreciate anything you may be able to donate to help me reach my target. Following Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing, I will be doing this over a number of days, starting on Sunday 26th April and expecting to complete it by Thursday 30th.

Fight Bladder Cancer relies on the fabulous fundraising of many wonderful people to allow them to support the many people affected by bladder cancer. With more than 18,000 people diagnosed with the disease each year in England alone, the work the charity does is needed more than ever.  Their work includes:

  • providing support to families affected
  • raising awareness of the disease
  • challenging policy
  • support research into treatments for patients

The impact of Coronavirus (Covid-19) has been has been huge for everyone and has affected the treatment options for a lot of patients.  Fight Bladder Cancer continues to offer support by email, telephone, video calling and their online forum to the many people affected by the disease.

The Two Point Six Challenge has been created to help generate much needed funds for charities who are struggling at the moment to continue the vital work they do.  Any help you can give will be much appreciated by myself and the team at the charity, thank you x
