Hi everyone! So, me and Em are training to do a 25km hike in the Peak District to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
We are doing this to raise money for Emmy Coates. A truly amazing woman whose story has really moved myself and Em. Emmy had a rare case of medullary thyroid cancer which affects such a small percentage of thyroid cancer patients. At 31 years old and after recently marrying her child hood sweetheart, Emmy went through so much and still managed to put a massive BEAUTIFUL smile on her face. Emmy and her husband Jake managed to raise over £130,000 for the Royal Marsden by completing a months long 2000km tandem bike ride from London to Copenhagen.
Unfortunately on the 16th June this year, Emmy lost her battle with Cancer and passed away.
Myself and Em would like to give as much more money as we can to this amazing charity, as Emmy always said in her blogs how amazing The Royal Marsden are.
Please read Emmy and Jakes blog: http://www.ejtandemonium.com, for their full story (it will reduce you to tears no doubt) but you will see why myself and Em have become so passionate at trying to raise as much money as we can to help!
We will be so grateful and can't thankyou enough for any donations!!
So in the words of lovely Emmy,
Smile, Love & be kind
Soph and Em xxxx
