Story

My name is Sophie and I am 15 years old and in December 2024 my dad was diagnosed with a rare localised primary bone cancer called Osteosarcoma in his C2 vertebrae.

My dad is half way through his MAP chemotherapy treatment and has had specialist surgery in London to remove the tumour because of its rare location and he is continuing his chemotherapy at the Christie in Manchester.

I would like to raise awareness for this rare cancer and raise funds to help others and my dad to improve treatments and find a cure for anyone in the future who this might affect so me and Cassie (and my mum) will be cantering for a cure in September!

Do you Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I'm cantering for a cure for the Bone Cancer Research Trust and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £50.
