London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·

We brighten the lives of seriously ill young people by granting wishes and providing ongoing support. Our wishes are as unique as the children themselves and whether a child wants to be a fireman, meet a real-life mermaid or even the Loch Ness Monster, we work hard to make that wish come true.

Story

I have somehow managed to find myself with a place in the London Marathon- something I've thought about for a long time, but didn't think it would actually happen!

I am running for Rays of Sunshine, who are an incredible charity that grant wishes to seriously ill children and young adults across the UK.

There are currently up to 49,000 children living in the UK with a serious or life-limiting illness. This figure is increasing every year and Rays of Sunshine believes that every child deserves to experience happiness and put their illness on hold – even if it is just for one day. Their vision is to make wishes come true and turn them in to happy memories.

Please help to spread the Sunshine and make more wishes come true by donating generously! Thank you!! :)
