What does Kidscape do?

Kidscape works directly with children and families experiencing bullying, across the UK. We provide workshops for children and their families, teaching confidence and assertiveness skills to tackle a bullying situation. We provide practical support and telephone advice to parents and carers worried about bullying situations. We also train professionals in how to challenge and prevent bullying in schools.

Why am I supporting Kidscape?

The past year, Covid has led to us moving towards a more digital culture, not only for adults, but also for kids with topics like home-schooling etc. gaining a lot more importance. With the increased access to digital tools, cyber-bullying has also become a more prominent issue and Kidscape has recognized that a lot more work needs to be done to raise awareness with parents, teachers and also the kids themselves. In order for them to be able to organize more workshops and trainings to help kids grow up in a safe environment, also virtually, I would like to support them by raising funds and running my 1st ever half marathon.
