I am taking part in the Astriid Challenge to enable and support talented people battling long-term health conditions to find meaningful work.

For the past 3 years I have had the pleasure of volunteering with the wonderful charity Astriid.

Astriid help bridge the gap between the invisible talent pool (those with chronic illnesses who wish to pursue volunteering or employment) and the UK skills crisis.

This July is the month of the Astriid Challenge, we have one simple goal which is to travel one virtual lap around the world covering a distance of 40,000 km!

Myself and the Astriid Dream Team (all pictured below) all have individual goals to help us get to that 40,000km distance.

My goal is to run at least the distance of a Marathon over the course of the month! (Happy to say I am right on track!)
