London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·

We can't wait to get back to cheering our team on the streets of London in October 2021. The Virtual London Marathon will most definitely go down in history but we look forward to the 26.2 miles we know and love

Story

Sophie's Smile fund has been set up in memory of Lisa & Andy's beautiful 9 year old daughter Sophie who lost her life to a brain tumour on December 27th 2012. The frustration of finding how massively underfunded research into brain tumours is, and how it is the biggest cancer killer in children and adults under the age of 40 has prompted them, with the support from their friends, colleagues and community, to raise money to help others affected by brain tumours and to help find a cure.
Their mission is threefold:
To raise awareness and help to reduce the time to diagnosis.
To raise money to fund pioneering research through The Brain Tumour Charity- the largest charity in the UK undertaking research.
To fight for access to clinical trials for those under 18' and their families who may face a terrible prognosis.
