Buttercups Goat Sanctuary is a charity based in Boughton Monchelsea which cares for abandoned, abused and neglected goats. They care solely for the welfare of animals who require love and care, and depend on donations and visits from members of the public. This has been hugely impacted by the Coronavirus meaning the charity’s finances have been reduced by up to 80%. Within the next 5 weeks if they do not receive the money that they require, they will be forced to close leaving 140 goats at risk. 

As a non-runner, I shall be running 50 miles in 4 weeks and for every mile I run, my dad shall run 2. Therefore in total we will have run 150 miles within the next 4 weeks. I have never run before except for the occasional bus and my dad is built far more for the pub than he is for his lycra shorts!
