We will be embarking upon a Gold Post Box Challenge, visiting all of the Olympians Gold Post Boxes during the summer of 2016, from where we will be sending Postcards to important public figures, asking them to support our Brain Aneurysm Awareness and Fund Raising Campaign.

We have both been personally affected by the devastation and loss that ruptured Brain Aneurysms and Subarachnoid Haemorrhage can cause and we NEED your help to raise IMPORTANT FUNDS for research into this terrifying silent killer.

Those of you that know us will be aware that Lisa's mum died of a Subarachnoid Haemorrhage, caused by a Brain Aneurysm in June 2012 at just 55 years old.

I myself, was suddenly struck down with a ruptured Brain Aneurysm in January 2016, but thankfully was diagnosed and transferred quickly to Southampton University Hospital, who saved my life.

•  Ruptured Brain Aneurysms are fatal in about 40% of cases.
• Half of all victims are younger than 50.
• 15% of patients with Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Haemorrhage die before reaching hospital. 
• Of those who survive about 66% suffer some permanent neurological deficit.
• There are 500,000 deaths worldwide each year caused by Brain Aneurysms.

Southampton University Hospital are conducting important Research into Brain Aneurysms and Subarachnoid Haemorrhage, please help them to save more lives.
