Story
Help Southampton Airport team breeze through 10,000ft for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Charity.
Leonardo Da Vinci said that once you have tasted the taste of sky, you will forever look up. So you’d think that people who work at the airport are always ready to hop on the plane or even jump from it… think again!
A lot of people in our team have either never done skydiving before or are genuinely scared of heights and flights. But we are ready to face our fears and free-fall from 10,000ft for an amazing cause – the airport’s Charity Partner, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
HIOWAA brings an advanced Critical Care Team to sick and injured people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight when they need it most. Available both day and night, 365 days a year, the Air Ambulance Critical Care Team is called out many times a day to attend road traffic collisions, sporting accidents, collapses and many other incidents. Highly skilled crews of Doctors, Paramedics and Pilots can be at the
scene of an incident within minutes, ready to deliver the same level of care that you would expect from a hospital emergency department.
HIOWAA is able to operate only thanks to the generosity of the communities they serve, so we are looking to raise £10,000 – that’s a pound for every foot of us screaming while free-falling!
So please donate and spread the word for us at Southampton Airport and the great air ambulance that is HIOWAA!
Thank you!
