In 2012, 2 police officers were on duty answering a routine call to a burglary and never returned home to their families.

PC Nicola Hughes' family set up a memorial fund in her name, Her father Bryn Hughes and his friend are running the North Pole Marathon in April 2014 to raise money for the fund....

They have challenged each of the 43 Police Forces in England and Wales to have a team of at least 10 people to raise £100 each

Each team member will be running 250 miles in 125 days in their own time.

Your donations will be split 3 ways by the memorial fund 1-Victim Support,   2 - North West Police Benevolent Fund, 3- Care of Police Survivors
