Welcome to the Southend on Sea RNLI Lifeboat Stations Fundraising
This page is owned and operated by the stations fundraising team and is for individuals wishing to join us in our lifesaving activities by donating or raising funds for the RNLI charity who operates the Southend-on-Sea lifeboat station.
It may be used by an individual who does not want to set-up their own giving page, but who is personally raising funds though a sponsorship event for the RNLI or Southend-on-Sea lifeboat station. (NB: When this is the case, individuals are asked to ensure sponsors clearly state who has raised the funds when completing the donating message. Example: "Joe Bloggs - good luck Joe in your fundraising event").
Every year the number of people using the Thames estuary for either pleasure or work increases. Over the last five years the RNLI Southend-on-Sea volunteer lifeboat crews have saved the lives of over 600 people and spent hundreds of hours at sea.
Southend-on-Sea is consistently one of the busiest lifeboat stations around our coastline. In 2015, they launched 142 times - Southend RNLI was the busiest coastal station around the UK. It is therefore imperative that we continue to give these incredible ordinary people, and their sympathetic families, the support they need to continue to save lives at sea.
