Some of the staff at the South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub are taking on the December Daily Dash, to run, jog or walk 3 miles a day every day in December (yes including Christmas!) We see first hand the care which Sue Ryder provides, and the kindness, strength and bravery of everyone who comes through the door. Sue Ryder support people through the most difficult times of their lives, ensuring we’re there when it matters for people living with conditions like cancer, heart failure and lung disease. The Sue Ryder South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub includes hospice at home care, inpatient beds and an advice line. We also provide bereavement support, helping people manage their grief when they’ve lost a loved one. Our doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can. We need to raise £2.9m each year to be able to continue to provide these services.
