Story

The Southwark News team are throwing themselves behind the 'Help For Heroes' campaign by jumping 12,000 feet from an airplane.
Four nervous and slightly terrified members of the 'News' have signed up for the sky dive above the Cambridge countryside and are asking for your help through sponsorship.
After leaping from the plane on Saturday, August 22, managing directors Kevin Quinn and Chris Mullany, as well as sales executive Tammy Goddard and graphic designer Laura Nessman, will free fall for 5,000 feet before the parachute opens.
All donations will be much appreciated, no matter how small. You can donate via this justgiving page now on, pledge your support  by emailing kevin@southwarknews.org, or call us on 020 7231 5258.
