Story

South Yorkshire Community Foundation is a charity and grant maker created by and for the people of Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham andSheffield . The charity raises funds to meet the needs of local people facing economic hardship and other barriers and improves community life.

Following the recent floods throughout South Yorkshire, South Yorkshire Community Foundation, with full support of the four Local Authorities, Hallam FM and Yorkshire Bank, has established a relief fund to alleviate immediate hardship and suffering of the thousands of people whose lives have been devastated by the floods. grants to individuals, families and community groups affected.
