Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are a group of 7 adventurous but misguided engineers taking on the Greatest Adventure on the Planet: The Mongol Rally. 10,000 miles with nothing but 3 bangers and our wits, what could go wrong! And now you're wondering.. "Why? Why the f@$k would anyone do this?"

For charity of course! (and "fun")

Engineering Without Borders supports tens of thousands of engineers across all disciplines to work to make the world a fairer, greener and safer place. This is through inspiring the new generations of engineers to come and this is what we hope to achieve by taking on this rally. We hope to show those young and aspiring engineers that although where we have come from is capable of travelling across the world, it is likely not the best or most sensible solution. We want to encourage young engineers to prevent stagnation and keep moving forward, infusing their morals, such as preventing climate change or helping those in developing countries, into what they do and create. Engineering is ingrained in everything, but if we do not consider the implications, it can have serious costs.
