I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Sept 2022 and got the all clear in May 2023 🩷. Although I’ll be on treatment for the rest of this year, I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones, I get to tell you about my story in person. 

I am holding a “big afternoon tea”  on my birthday, 12 August, because every birthday is a blessing, and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend it, than with family, and friends, old and new, raising much needed funds to help prevent future generations having to go through such a painful, emotional and terrifying time.
