Story

This December I'll be getting my sparkle on for the NSPCC. Wear it, bake it, or make it, it's going to be the sparkliest day of the year! Beneath all the fun and shine there is a worthy cause. 1 in 5 children in the UK have suffered abuse – and we know that this Christmas thousands of children will be left in the dark with no one to turn to. Help me fundraise for the NSPCC's vital work this Christmas - every sparkle, every sequin, and every pound I raise can help protect children.

I volunteer at Childline and have experienced first hand just how important the work done by NSPCC is for children in the UK - it is literally life saving.

Children and young people can contact Childline all day every day and it is fantastic that more children and young people are aware of the service and are using it but this also means that more volunteers are needed to keep up with this demand. The money raised this December is going to help pay for training for more volunteer counsellors to ensure that all contacts from children and young people get answered. It is also going to help pay for programmes and campaigns to be launched in more schools to make sure that these valuable messages are reaching more and more children and young people around the UK. This is why your donations are so important, anything you can give is greatly appreciated!

Thank you x
