hello everyone reading this...and thanks so much for taking the time to do so! 

heres the lowdown on what im doing.......when i was at wonderfull Womad this year, a giant bouncing board caught my eye in the far distance.....what on earth is that i wondered, then the board turned around, and a neon man was attached to it feverishly dancing, the board read....you are free to dance with me!! of course me being me, i got over excited and had to go dance with him immediately! at first i just presumed he was a total raver just on one at a festival, but as the days went on, and the more i danced with him i got to know what hes doing it all for.......the best thing to do is to check out his page....free2dance.com its a real touching and incredibly inspiring story. Ben is just an ordinary teacher from London, he has spent a lot of time in Burma, and has been really affected by whats happening there......and the fact that the people there arent free at all, and how we take our freedom for granted....such as dance! we are free to dance! (and this is where it all beggings!) Ben couldnt dance at all at the beggining of his crazy adventure (very funny videos to be seen on his page!) and has spent the past two years dedicating his life to dance and visiting every dance school that will have him!! he now is one of the most funky and spritely dancers ive ever seen! its hard to describe without seeing it first hand but Ben is totally captivating....you literally cant take your eyes off him! his energy is incredible, as he goes around he goes around dancing with people and injecting energy into them! its a wonderfull thing to watch....you cant not smile and have a bop with him! and regardless of his world record attempt and the great cause its for.....he brings joy to everyone who comes across him and makes people feel free for a minuite or two when they get caught up in his crazy dancing!!!

Bens world record attempt is to dance through the longest ever danceathon in a silent disco on the Thames in london....he will be dancing an incredibly rediculous 131 hours!!! thats 5 and a half days! this is all real and i dont doubt for one second he'll do it! he does get a tiny bit of rest, every 4hours he gets 20mins off and thats it!!   in training for this madness Ben danced the whole way through Glastonbury and Womad festivals, day and night! and also is the only person to ever have danced every step of the London marathon!!! the man is on a mission! and you should see the size of his calves!

as he dances around he hands out golden tickets to people who have had a proper funk with him, this is an invite to the world record attempt! he invitd people to join him for a 4hour stint......and this is what im doing! i really wanted to do more but i have stupid shin splints at the moment (from way too much zumba and not being a very good patient and resting!!) and am in quite a lot of pain with them so im going to strap my leg up well and do my 4 hours!  every4 hours the genre of music changes, and ive chosen to cheese it out to some 80's classics....anyone who knows me knows i just love throwing out some shapes to the cheesy 80's!!! but this stint is 6-10 AM on a sunday!!! (i know....what am i doing!!)
