Story

Thanks people for taking a peek at my JustGiving page. You may just know by now that I am a bit nutty, so this time I have chosen to up the ante and WAS going to do two BIG events, firstly, the 2017 Brighton Marathon and then the MIGHTY London Marathon! GULP!!!! But I went mad and chose to make it a TREBLE thanks to a generous donation of a place on the www.fortwilliammarathon.co.uk in the Scottish Highlands, from its race director Chris Millard, which he had given me to help support GOSH & SPARKS, two amazing charities that have joined forces and become one- SPARKS- founded by legendary sportsman Jimmy Hill no less, to help research into childhood and infant illnesses and medical conditions and help kids like my twin Mark who I lost so quickly to Acute Lymphomblastic Leukaemia 31 years ago and Great Ormond Street Hospital, where he was treated. However, due to injury I wasn't able to run Fort William and have replaced it with the Monster Marathon in Ely, Cambridgeshire in September. I couldn't be happier to help them GOSH/Sparks. No one is exempt from illness unfortunately, no matter their background. Sparks wasn't around when I lost my twin but I can still help other little ones now, so help me help kiddies and their quality of life and beat illnesses with advancing technology that wasn't available in the 80s. Let's make a deal... I'll do the really hard work and you lovely people just consider sponsoring and sharing my page 😆😆😆❤❤❤
