Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer but the British Heart Foundation lead in the fight against it. The suddenness of a life taken by a heart related problem and the ripple effect of that grief can never be underestimated. Barry has lost both his mother and eldest brother to heart disease, and I suffer from a fairly rare condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (a form of supra-ventricular tachycardia or SVT), and so the British Heart Foundation means a lot to the both of us.
