We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit Blaze Event's JustGiving page. Our team is working hard to raise as much money as we can for the cause but we need your help.

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through the toughest times they may have faced. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity meeting this vital need by creating world-class cancer services, and providing life-changing care and support.

Why we need you.

Despite all their efforts, for every young person Teenage Cancer Trust can currently support, there's another they can't. This has to change! Blaze events believe that every young person with cancer should get the care and support they deserve.

How your donation can help.

By donating to Teenage Cancer Trust you are helping to fund the work that ensures young people don't have to face cancer alone:

  • £10 Young people shouldn't face cancer alone. By donating a small amount you can help make sure they don't.
  • £25 will provide a young person with cancer an hour of specialist care and personalised support from a Teenage Cancer Trust Youth Support Coordinator.
  • £50 could buy a round of pizzas for a young person and their friends, which might just be the first thing that tempts a young person out of bed after a gruelling round of chemo.
  • £100 pays for four hours of expert care from a specialist Teenage Cancer nurse.
  • £2,500 enables Teenage Cancer Trust to deliver cancer education talks for 625 young people in local schools, colleges and universities across the UK.
  • £25,000 raised would fund 1,000 hours of specialist and expert care for young people with cancer.
