So why Epilepsy Research ?

One of our colleagues who is also Anne's brother has a 6 year old daughter Emily. Emily was diagnosed with epilepsy last year and over the past year this has severely affected her and her whole families life to the point where this little Emily's life is constantly interrupted. This is a worthy cause and relates closely to helping people that we know and work with.

What’s the Event?

This is a team event with a group of work colleagues, we are aiming to walk approximately 10 miles through the towns of Medway on the 27th June 2010. We start at the Riverside country park and make our way to Rochester Cathedral and then start the return trek back to .

You may be asking 'Why a 10 mile walk and not a run?' My team members ages range from 19 to 62 years old and this event is all about team effort and working together to do something for a good cause.
