The Speechmatics Rowathon!

The Speechmatics team will be hosting their first ever Rowathon at their offices in Cambridge to support their charity of the year, Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust.

About Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust

Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust is a fantastic charity that is dedicated to supporting innovation in patient care across Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals. They believe that every patient deserves the best possible care and aim to support cutting-edge technology, additional specialist services, vital research and extra comforts for patients over and above NHS funding.

Speechmatics is delighted to be supporting such a great cause this year and is planning to bring even more value to the charity over the coming months.

About the Rowathon

Naturally, the Speechmatics team has set an optimistic target to row the equivalent of Oxford to Cambridge (135km / 84 miles) over the course of six hours using three indoor rowers on the day of the Rowathon. (Special thanks to Hills Road Sports Centre for lending the rowers.)

Although the target set will not be plain sailing, we'll throw caution to the wind as we make every effort to get home from Oxford. We welcome all donations for Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust as we put our mind and body to the test for The Speechmatics Rowathon!
