My friends and I cycled around Highbury Fields on Sunday to raise money for a new playground at our school in Islington.The old one had to go to make room for new classrooms.

(Playgrounds in schools are not public spaces apparently, so the council will not pay for them, but that's another story).

We want to build a new, proper playground with climbing frames, and an eco garden where we can get our hands dirty.

I had aimed for twenty 'red' laps (at 530m) and I did 21. That's over 11kms. There were over 100 of us there so between us we've cycled a lot of miles.
