Story

This year Andrew will be running the 13.1 miles of The Great North Run!

He has kindly offered to support the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital Charity with his fundraising. This is to support his close friends Tom and Jenny Whatling who's son Jude was stillborn at 41 weeks of pregnancy earlier this year. The money raised will support the maternity bereavement team and the development of a designated room for bereaved families. Although this will not make the loss of a baby any easier it will provide time and space for families to make precious memories together.

From Tom and Jenny:

In Jude's memory, we would like to raise funds to support the amazing work of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital maternity and bereavement teams. The kindness and compassion we received helped us survive the most difficult time of our lives. The team of midwives, chaplain and bereavement midwife have all gone above and beyond for us and we will be eternally grateful.

We hope that by raising funds in Jude's name we can in some small way demonstrate our gratitude.

We are really touched that Spinny will be putting on his trainers again and training hard to support us and the charity. It's really special that he will be running in memory of our special little boy. xxx
