Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

At this current time there are so many charities struggling with lack of funds coming through the door, with all the major fundraising events being cancelled. Here at Spire Harpenden, we wanted to do something to help these charities out.

We are aiming to cover the distance of 333km in as quick a time period as possible. Colleagues are running, walking and/or cycling to cover this distance. Why 333km? Colleagues from across the Spire network were meant to be taking part in a 333km cycle in June, which due to COVID-19 cannot go ahead. So here at Harpenden we've decided to cover the distance for them!

We will be raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK, as a recent study showed that prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed form of disease in Britain, overtaking breast, lung and bowel cancer a decade earlier than expected.

We greatly appreciate any donation to help out charities during this very difficult time. Thank you in advance for your time and support.
