Wooden Spoon is the children’s charity of rugby. Our vision is that through the power of rugby every child and young person across the UK & Ireland, no matter what their background has access to the same opportunities.

Story

Danny, Jocky, Hobbsy, Mitch, Craig, Al, Goldy and Monkey (now to be known as 'Baboon' on account of his sore ar5e) cycled from London Irish RFC to Henge on the Summer Solstice (Lions 1st Test Day).   It took about 6 hours - it was tough terrain!

In support of the Lions we all wore red tour tops and for reasons best left un-said we each fixed a rubber duck to our helmets.

Between us we are aiming to raise £1600 and Wooden Spoon is such a great charity we hope you will dig just a little deeper.

The money raised will help the charity help young people who, through no fault of their own, find themselves on the lowest spoke of fortune's wheel.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Wooden Spoon gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
