Spoonie Survival Kits for Christmas 2015 · 26 October 2015

The ME Association campaigns hard to get ME recognised as a severe neurological illness. Our helpline provides essential information and support to adults and children who have ME/CFS, and to their families and carers. We also fund biomedical research into the physical nature and causes of ME/CFS.

Story

Spoonie Survival Kits are little bags of happiness for chronic illness sufferers. The kits are funded off kind donations, then sold online with 25% of all proceeds from sales keeping the project sustained, and 75% going to chronic illness charities.

Everybody who works on the project has at least one chronic illness and myself and my volunteers all live with ME. Therefore, we have decided to make special edition Christmas Kits to support the ME Association's Big Give Christmas Challenge - Early & Accurate Diagnosis of ME. As someone who waited 5 years for my diagnosis because of my younger age, this is a cause myself and my volunteers strongly believe deserves as much attention as possible. The kits will be on sale in November and the link will be posted on here once they go live!
