Story
Here at spottydog communications, we are super-excited to be taking on a team challenge to support a local dogs home through these difficult times.
We have chosen to help an amazing local charity, Birmingham Dogs Home, by taking part in a walking challenge called 'Take the Lead Together'. Our aim is to collectively walk one million steps by the end of May. We will be using our one hour of daily exercise to do this, and even completing laps of our homes if it means we reach our target! Those of us with canines of our own will also make sure they get involved in the action.
Plus, we'll be injecting the spottydog sense of fun as each week's exercise will have a different theme - so there's sure to be some funny pictures of us in crazy hats or silly costumes!
Birmingham Dogs Home really needs our help at this time. Normally they get support by people dropping off daily donations of food and blankets, or by taking part in marathons for them or by going along to support their family fun days. Currently, they are operating behind closed doors and cannot raise any money in the usual ways but continue to have daily costs of looking after the hundreds of dogs that are with them at the moment.
From everyone at spottydog and the lovely rescue dogs, thanks for your su-paw-t, and make sure you follow our progress on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn! We would be really grateful if you could spare a couple of pounds to spur us on to reach the goal.
