Phil (Dan) Sheaff joined Sprout as employee number 5.  Arriving from New Zealand, Dan was re-named ‘Phil’ (his middle name) as per clerking culture, to avoid name-clash with another ‘Dan’ at Sprout!  Remembered as forever wearing headphones and rarely not talking, he brought a real buzz to Sprout – and the whole of London!.  Phil passed away suddenly, in his sleep, in October 2011.  We still laugh about the time he fell down some stairs, horribly bruising his leg but saving the client monitor he was carrying at the time.  A true Sprout!
