Tony Rees was an inspirational man to work with. He was generous, kind and funny, he understood and appreciated people and always, always, had time for us. He made us believe in ourselves and what we could achieve, both individually and as a team. He gave us all the opportunity to be the best that we can be and we strived to make him proud.  Tony appreciated everything and everybody around him, every day, and it is now our responsibility to honour him by maintaining that attitude in the business, and continuing to grow and develop ourselves and SQN in the way he taught us. 

Those of you lucky enough to have known Tony will understand why the SQN team continue to arrange events which revolve around good food and gathering together. In 2020 the “gathering together" part is obviously not possible, but Tony didn’t raise a team of quitters, he taught us that we could always find a way…so in 2020, the SQN team is socially distancing while running, swimming and walking to raise money in his memory for this spectacular charity.

Tony believed in our industry and the knowledge that we are making people’s lives better lives on with us.  It is a measure of the man that the SQN team want to continue to remember and honour his memory.
