Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are taking part in Cyclothon UK 2018 event, supporting Lifelites.

We will be a team of 7 (and 2 fantastic support staff), cycling around the world famous Brands Hatch motor racing circuit for a 12-hour endurance relay.

Our Square Enix team is supporting Lifelites, a unique charity providing donations of assistive and inclusive technology and gaming packages to every children’s hospice service in the British Isles.

Children and young people in hospices often find that their opportunities to join in with the world around them are limited by disabilities. Many of them feel isolated and find it difficult to develop social skills, but Lifelites’ technology and gaming packages can change this.

Gaming helps children and young people in hospices to form valuable friendships, and give them a sense of respite and relief from the challenges they face. Lifelites have also seen how it can give them motivation, inclusion and quality of life.

Your donation can help Lifelites to give children and young people in hospices the chance to play, be creative, communicate and control something for themselves, for as long as possible.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
