Story

Hi there,

As some of you may know, earlier this year we lost a very dear friend, David Trail. He was a son, a brother, a friend to many, and so much more. A few of us have got together and decided to raise some money for a charity very close to David's heart, MND Scotland. This disease impacts so many, David's family included - we want to do what we can to give a little back.

James Lindsay will be cycling in the Skye Mor Sportive, 152km distance with 1843m ascent on 25th August. Kirsty Jamieson will be swimming 5K in Loch Lomond, as part of the great Scottish Swim on the 25th August. Rory Jamieson will then be running in the Glentress half marathon on the 17th of November. Finally, Joe Sparshatt, William Fletcher and Richard Core will be running in the Valencia Marathon on the 2nd of December. Most of us have spent our 20s drinking and eating too much so the thought that our efforts will be going to such a worth cause in David's memory will really help get us through. Any donation you can give is truly appreciated. David could annoy any of us to the point of screaming, but make us laugh to the point of crying. I know somewhere he'll be enjoying our physical pain through these events!
