Story

Squash Squared - Charity Mission

Squash Squared is the first squash and education program to operate in the United Kingdom, with the primary objective of bettering the lives of disadvantaged school children through; a) an introduction to the exciting game of squash; b) provision of extra-curricular educational and tutoring services across several subjects; and, c) informal mentoring and progress tracking as their academic and athletic careers progress.

The program activities take place within a positive and encouraging after-school environment at the Wimbledon Club, a new place for the children to which the program gives them access.

The programme is on the upswing and is in the process of an expansion plan to bring new schools and students into the fold. You can read more about our charity and its mission here!

Squash Squared Cup - December 9

The Squash Squared Cup is a team exhibition squash event taking place on Saturday December 9th at The Wimbledon Club and represents one of the programme’s primary avenues for fundraising and awareness.
It has been organised in the hope of raising enough money to cover the costs of the initiative for the next 12 months.

Six teams of six players, each comprising one child from Sacred Heart School and one Squash Squared trustee, will compete in a diverse and unique team event designed to support the UK’s first Urban Squash programme.

The squash competition will be followed by an information session on the charity so we welcome in-person supporters!
