Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My dad John Chadwick was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in December 2016 with a life expectancy of 6 - 12 months. In February 2017 following an unsuccessful round of Radiotherapy his expectancy was changed to 6 - 8 weeks.

Dad moved from the Midlands where we was being treated to Romsey near Southampton in late February to be close to me and my sister, he sadly passed away in March 2017.

I am raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support as thanks for their help that they gave my dad during his treatment and dealing with my daily phone calls and endless questions.

I am sure with a lot of other people who have dealt with similar situations understand it is incredibly hard to think about it let alone talk about it and this short story has been hard to write, but I hope that signing up to this event can help to raise much needed funds for Macmillan and assist with their help that they offer to thousands across the country.
