We’re at it again, and this time for the long run!

We joined up with the British Heart foundation (BHF), a
charity that we hold close to our hearts to raise some much needed funds for
the cause.

In late 2018 we committed to raising £10,000 for the BHF
because we understand that, as timber is the supporting structure of your roof,
the heart is to our bodies – without it, we just wouldn’t be.

As part of our pledge to help support the pioneering
research that goes into beating heart disease we are taking part in numerous
events throughout the summer of 2019. We’ve kick-started our 2019 events by
climbing Snowdon and other events in the pipeline include a Ben Nevis trek, a
gruelling Half Marathon and sponsorship of a local event - with all proceeds
going to the BHF.

So we’re putting all hands to the pump at SR Timber to meet
our promise, and hopefully encourage and influence others to get involved too.
We know that by doing our bit we can help beat heartbreak, one step at a time!
