India is in the grip of a second pandemic wave of COVID-19. Many thousands of people have died, are dying every day, and many more have and will be affected by the aftermath. Shree Prajapati Association UK (SPAUK) have launched an emergency appeal to raise funds to support people and organisations in our ancestral region of Gujarat. SPAUK are donating monies to provide essentials such as food, medicine packs, portable oxygen concentrators and additional items that are deemed necessary to cope with the pandemic. SPAUK are working with local organisations in Gujarat and COVID Centres that are currently working hard to provide support to the community. Following on from any immediate relief a longer-term plan will be developed to aide with COVID relief centres, and to support families that have lost loved ones. SPAUK is a registered charity in the UK (Charity number 802570) whose charitable objects include relieving poverty and sickness. It raises money for a variety of causes.
