Virtual tea party · 26 March 2021

Story

As most of you will know, Mike Donoghue holds a very successful, annual fundraiser for the Irish cancer society. This year, due to Covid restrictions, Mike is unable to host his usual tea day so we have decided to work with Mike and host a virtual tea party here in our home to support this special charity. On Friday March 26th, our residents will enjoy a beautiful afternoon tea with lovely homemade goods and treats donated by Mike. We ask all our family and friends to join us by posting a selfie of themselves having a cup of tea or just their cup if they like, in the comment section of our Facebook post and then the important bit is to donate something small to the cause. Every euro counts. Daffodil pins will be on sale for staff over the weekend. If you cannot join us on Friday, please do so over the weekend as we will keep this page open for a time after the event. Many thanks in advance to you all for your support of this amazing charity, that is close to many peoples hearts but especially to Mike for his hard work year on year. It doesn’t go unnoticed. Mike and his team of fundraisers will hold another fundraiser later on in the year.
