Remember the lives of your loved ones and support your local hospice    

      

Light Up a Life is our celebration of everything that St Barnabas House stands for - living life to the full and making the most of every precious moment. At our Light Up a Life service every year, we join together to remember and celebrate the lives and memories of our loved ones.

 

We would like to invite you to join with us this year by attending one of our services at the Worthing Assembly Hall. These will be held on Monday 12th December 2011 at 4.30 pm and again at 7.00 pm. Please contact us on 01903 706329 to let us know which one of the Light Up a Life services you would like to attend. We are grateful to Acre Care for sponsoring our services.

 

Everyone who attends a service will also be given a 24-hour votive candle to light at home in remembrance of their loved one. If you cannot attend an event but would still like a candle, you may collect one from St Barnabas House, in Titnore Lane, Worthing, or from any of our St Barnabas House charity shops. Please visit our website to find the location of your nearest shop.

 

New for this year is our Memory Wall which will be on display at both services. For those who wish, we would like to invite you to celebrate the life of your loved one by bringing along photos and writing your special thoughts and memories on the Memory Wall.

 

You can make a dedication for a loved one by contacting the hospice. Dedications will be listed in the Order of Service for the Light Up a Life events, as well as in the Book of Remembrance at our Christmas tree in Montague Street, Worthing, and on the St Barnabas website www.stbh.org.uk. Our Christmas tree has been very kindly supported by the Rotary Club of Worthing and generously sponsored by Kardinal Mobility.

 

Alternatively, you may make a dedication by printing off the form from our website www.stbh.org.uk and posting it to us. If you would like you dedication to be included, we will need your reply by Friday 18th November 2011.

If you wish to make a donation through our Just Giving page, it provides you with the opportunity to leave a short Light Up a Life dedication or message. To ensure any dedication you make on our Just Giving page is included in the Order of Service for the Light Up a Life events, as well as in the Book of Remembrance and on the St Barnabas website www.stbh.org.uk, we will need your reply by Friday 18th November 2011.
