GHCT is a brilliant organisation supporting churches of all denominations throughout Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and north Bristol.    Ride and Stride is its main annual fundraiser and the Trust is generous in its support for the repair and improvement of church buildings to make them useful for today's needs.  St Giles Uley has supported GHCT for years.

Ride and Stride has been adapted this year to  make allowances for Covid restrictions so it doesn't have to be done on the 12th - however if it is not pouring with rain we shall aim for the 12th September and 13 churches.   St Giles Church is launching an appeal to make significant alterations to its interior so that wheel chairs and buggies can get into the building.  We also intend removing a number of trip hazards, levelling the floor and creating a bit more space at the front so there is more room for children's activities, concerts, etc.  We hope GHCT will support this.
