St John's College School Cambridge is raising money for WWF-UK

White Rhino Sculpture · 24 November 2020

We’re the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. And we’re building a future where people and nature thrive together. That’s why we’re passionate about sharing the planet’s resources more sustainably, tackling climate change and protecting endangered wildlife.

Story

This year as an alternative to visiting the Zoology museum Form 5 spent an afternoon learning about the threat of extinction to the White Rhino.

They used clay to make small sculptures of Northern White Rhinos. These are currently on display in the Piazza and we are asking the children if they would like to donate £1 to the World Wide Fund for Nature before they take their sculptures home.

The WWF is at the frontier of conservation work to save endangered animals from extinction.
