Thousands of people take part in Ride+Stride every year to raise funds to support their local churches and county historic churches trusts. In our area the GHCT raised over £45,000 in 2021 for individual churches and for their grants programme. You can take part in this fun event either  by sponsoring the members of the Southrop Parochial Church Council who are taking part through a donation on this website, or by being sponsored individually, in which case contact our Treasurer on lcllewellyn10@gmail.com for a copy of the sponsorship form. 50% of the total funds raised are remitted back  to St Peter's Church Southrop to help us progress our own community projects. For 2022 - 2023 this is to create a Garden of Remembrance and memorial for the burial of ashes following cremation services.
