Campaign by Caritas Diocese of Salford (RCN 1125808)
We are resting the St Joseph Penny Appeal boxes this year for everyone's safety. Instead, we are inviting our diocesan schools to come together to fill one VIRTUAL box. Can you raise £1.90, £19.04 or £190.40 to celebrate 1904, the year SJP launched?

Story

As we approach the season of Lent, we have been thinking of how we can be thoughtful and give to others safely given the current circumstances.

We haven't got the St Joseph Penny Appeal box to fill this year, but the services operated by Caritas Salford still need our help to support the children, families and isolated individuals most in need in our local communities.

Each year, we always do a fantastic job of filling hundreds
of St. Joseph’s Penny boxes for the local charity, Caritas. Caritas are resting the St Joseph Penny Appeal boxes this year for everyone's safety. Instead, they are inviting schools to come together to fill one big virtual St. Joseph’s Penny Box as a school. They have called this year’s fundraising #LockdownLent.

This year at St.Philip’s, we are inviting children, and members of their families if they so
wish, to participate in a fun sponsored activity. This can be an activity of
your own choice such as a sponsored walk, run, silence,     dance, bake, jump, workout, skip etc. Be as creative as you like!

Please ensure all sponsored activities are completed safely
and adhere to current restrictions.
