Monica Ferguson, Chief Executive of The Stables Theatre, Wavendon has just taken on the challenge of a lifetime by trekking in the Amazon and Andes to help raise funds for Education Programme at The Stables Theatre. www.stables.org
After 56 miles trekking through the Amazon Rainforest, across the Volcanic lavaflows of the Galapagos Islands and the ancient Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, Monica has returned safe and sound.
Just under £3,000 has been raised towards our Education Department's target of £5,000 so a big thank you goes to everyone who sponsored the trek.
If anyone wishes to help us reach that £5,000 target, additional donations are still welcome, our you may like to take on a sponsored challenge yourself on our behalf.
Remember if you are a UK tax payer your donation can be enhanced by a further 28% at no cost to you when you tick the relevant box.
