Come on all you lovely people please sponsor me to jump out of a plane in memory of a very special little girl who was taken far too soon

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Kelsey Smart was a caring, chatty and popular pupil in a Year 1 class at my school. Unfortunately beautiful Kelsey died on Tuesday 28 February 2012 after falling ill with Group B meningococcal meningitis, bacterial strain of the disease taking her life so quickly. Her parents made the brave decision to donate their daughter's organs. Kelsey's heart has already been given to another child, while five other children will also be helped.

Although I have always wanted to take part in a skydive, I have never had the guts to get up and book one. So when I was asked by my Head Taecher if I would take part in the event I jumped (excuse the pun!) at the chance.

I am taking part in this event, not only to raise money for a fantastic charity but  also to remember the beautiful child that Kelsey was.

The charity Meningitis UK have been so supportive to the family of Kelsey and it is so important to support them now and help them raise money to fund cutting-edge research to find a preventative vaccine and save thousands of lives like Kelsey’s in the future.
