Both of our daughters were born at the Jessop Wing in Sheffield. When Ottilie was born in 2018, she was poorly with a lung infection and needed to stay in hospital for a little while. It was during that time that the team there picked up on a heart defect which she had. This was repaired in February 2021 under the care of specialists in Leeds. 

Jessops has a fundraising appeal to create a bereavement suite. Not everyone is as lucky as us and gets to take their babies home. We are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to raise money towards the bereavement suite appeal, to say thank you for the amazing care and expertise we received, and to try and support other parents.
