The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Thomas’s Just Giving page.

One afternoon as I collected Thomas from school he proudly announced that he had decided to grow his hair really really long to make a wig for a child that really needed it. He informed me that he had already told his Head Teacher and how she thought it was such a lovely thing to do.

So off he set on his own little challenge to grow his hair as long as he could for the Little Princess Trust  to make a wig.

In that time he’s had to constantly and politely correct many people who have mistaken him for a little girl, but this has never deterred him from completing his challenge.

Thomas has been growing his hair now for nearly two years and it’s now time to have those beautiful blonde locks cut off to bring a child/children in need some joy during a tough time in their life.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, the Little Princess Trust will be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. From receiving hair donations through to fitting and styling a bespoke wig, it costs the charity £550 to provide a real hair wig. Currently the charity supply 100 wigs every month.

Thomas is hoping to raise as much money as possible and every penny that he can raise, really will count.

Please remember to give to gift aid, as it does make a huge difference.

Thank you for your support.
