Story
The Savannah Education Trust is an NGO which operates in the Lawra Municipality in the Upper West Region of Ghana, on the border with Burkina Faso. This area is the most deprived region in Ghana with low levels of adult literacy and high levels of child mortality. The Trust works in partnership with the Ghana Education Service, the Dagaabe tribal leadership, and the local community to:
· Build primary schools in communities which have never had access to education.
· Provide a free meal for each child each day to maximise attendance
· Provide teacher training scholarships - to increase the bank of qualified teachers working in this remote rural region.

Thank you for your support of the Savannah Education Trust. It costs just £6 to educate and feed a child per month - so your generous donations will have a tremendous impact in north west Ghana.
