In November 2011 I visited Virunga National Park. My good mate Cai, his lovely girlfriend Sarah work there together with a whole bunch of other dedicated & great people to restore the park & protect it from a whole range of threats, such as poaching and logging.

It was my first time getting close to gorillas & I loved it. These are the  coolest animals! Additionally I managed get close to live volcanoes. These are just two things of what Virunga has in store, it is one of the most amazing and diverse parks of Africa and needs a lot of help.
